Y'all know I'm on that Seattle Summer kick! Now, while our beaches are not the sprawling Pacific Ocean shores of say San Diego or LA, we have some beautiful beach fronts in the Pacific Northwest. etsy fridays: summer whites
Sorry for being MIA the last few Fridays! My weeks have been cray busy lately, which is no excuse I know! But I'm back y'all! Back, and ready for summer! While I don't subscribe to the whole "don't wear white after Labor Day" rule, I must admit, summer months are the best months to wear white. There is just something about a light, clean, crisp white shirt on a warm summer day. Summer is taken very seriously by us Seattlites and for me, the wardrobe is the most important part. I mean, duh. etsy fridays: ring ring
I would like to start with a very important disclaimer: I will not be using a single Beyonce lyric in this entire Etsy Friday post. So if you're looking for some tired ass pop-culture reference- move along, friend.
Now. To more important things. I love me some jewels. These days I am all about thefake gold. Add some color and a dope statement ring and we have got a winning combination. Etsy has such huge section of handmade and vintage rings, I have to admit, it was really hard to find some of these favorites. I mean, not that hard I guess. I am a professional after all. a special etsy fridays: introducing poppies & pines!
Hello friends! I wanted to let you all know about a new and exciting project I have been working on for several weeks. Introducing: Poppies & Pines Vintage! As you all know, I love clothes and vintage clothing in particular. It really is my dream to work in fashion so this is my way of dipping my toes in just a little bit. I'm not planning on launching a multimillion dollar business anytime soon, but starting my own little shop is what I have always wanted. So I thought Etsy would be the perfect place to start! I've really loved working on something creative involving fashion and styling along with really amazing and supportive friends. Speaking of which, I have to take a moment to thank my super awesome friends Anna, Loc, Ronald and of course, Miles. Loc is my bestie and a crazy talented graphic designer who designed my logo, which I absolutely love! Ronald and Anna both made the first P&P photo shoot possible- Anna was my beautiful model of course, and Ronald has been helping me with all of the photos! And of course, Miles has just been super supportive and has pushed me to do something I love even if it does start out small. With all this being said, I hope you can take the time out to visit my little shop here and there. I will keep you posted when new items come in and hopefully we can watch this little side project grow into something much bigger! etsy firdays: get shorty
Time for some tough love. Look- I love a good pair of jorts. But can we talk about this for a second? This is serious.WTF is going on with girls and their cut off denim shorts these days?! Get out of here with your butt-cheeks! Are they meant to be short, fun and flirty? Of course. Are they meant to show off your entire ass? Dear god, no. Maybe I should give these girls a break, they just want to look cute for summer and I totally get that. I've decided to help and pulled together some super fun and super cute shorts I found on Etsy, perfect for the summer. Take a look below for some great printed shorts and for denim cut offs that are fun and appropriate!
