I am, believe it or not, a total bag lady. I'm pretty sure you all can believe it. Even though I am loyal to my Baggus, it don't matta. I love a good tote bag-- all day eeryday. I actually prefer canvas totes and happen to own several. I  found some amazing canvas and leather tote bags during my Etsy search this week and may just have to purchase one or two. Go figure. style inspired by: rare 1967 photos of twiggy

This week I came across these amazing, rare vintage photos of Twiggy from a trip she took to California in 1967. By this time she was already the face of 1960's fashion. Most photos seen of her from this time are from photo shoots or magazine covers like Vogue, Seventeen and even Newsweek. So, it's refreshing to see these candid shots of the model that let her personal style and adorable personality shine. I chose my three favorites below but be sure to check out more swingin' photos from her trip, here.

These photos inspired me to put a look together based on her effortless style. I am normally not a fan of wide leg culotte-style pants but was surprised by how many totally wearable styles there are out there. The pair I found below from Asos are super cute and reasonably priced! Plus they are perfect for Spring! What do you think of my take on Twiggy's casual, chic 60's style? I mean, I would wear it all...obvs. ;)

new canvas styles from baggu!

To those of you asking yourselves "doesn't she have enough Baggus already?!" The answer is no, always no. I can never have enough! They are my favorite reusable bag brand for a reason--their products are as stylish as they are functional. Case in point, their canvas products are amazing and super reliable. I'm so excited they keep coming out with new colors and improved designs, but it's a little dangerous considering I want one of each every time I see them! I need to restrain myself. Then again, it is Earth Day....maybe I should purchase the new backpack in fig to celebrate. Yeah buying more Baggus so I am using less plastic and paper bags...this totally makes sense, right? etsy fridays: thinking about decorating our space

It has been a few months now since Miles has moved in and it has been so much fun living together! Granted, it was a little stressful for a while--those boxes really aren't going to unpack themselves are they? Anyways, the point is...we are unpacked, settled and I am pumped to decorate this bitch! Even though I had already been living in the apartment for years before Miles moved in, I want it to feel like our home filled with things we both love. Luckily, we both love plants, bright colors and anything with animals on it. Basically just straight up fun things. And trust--if those things happen to be mini and or have a bear on them, they will get straight up purchased. etsy fridays: think (vintage) pink!

Pink is a notoriously difficult color to pull off. It can be pretty, or pretty damn obnoxious (see what I did there?). But when done right, I love a good hint of pink! The trick is finding the right shade that works for you and your personal style. This week I have been searching for a little pink to add to my own vintage collection. I love both classic and quirky vintage pieces, it really just depends on the mood I'm in. Even though one should be slightly more cautious when dealing with such a bold color, don't be afraid to have fun and go for it! The 80's happened people, get over it. getting away: olympic peninsula

Spring is here people! Although the weather can be a little unpredictable this time of year, it can't stop me from exploring new places and new adventures! A few weekends ago my friends and I took a trip to the Olympic Peninsula. I had heard it was really beautiful with plenty to do and see, so I was so excited when my friends suggested getting a cabin there for the weekend. The trip was a little bittersweet though, since it was a final hurrah for my bestie Loc (check out his blog+awesome photos from the trip!) who just moved to NYC last week. We lucked out with amazing weather! So sunny and warm, we were running around in our swimsuits! It was so nice out I couldn't help taking hella photos. I absolutely loved it out there, Miles and I will definitely be planning a camping trip there this summer! Enjoy the photos, xoxo whit.
