met gala: 16 best dressed on the red carpet

I just couldn't quite limit my best dressed from this year's Met Gala down to 15-had to make it 16 of course. I have to admit, I wasn't super excited about this year's "Punk: Chaos to Couture" theme. I thought most attendees would totally skip the theme and go for the typical red carpet gowns. And while some stars did miss the mark, others did not disappoint! I gave points to those who went with the theme, no matter how they interpreted it. I loved the dark gothic looks and the dresses with serious hardware. This is the Met Gala, people!
